Hello everyone! I am Maria, your Spanish teacher. I come from Colombia, the land of coffee, music, and smiles. I am passionate about the Spanish language and love sharing my culture and passion for teaching. I hold a master degree in Spanish and Literature.
Furthermore, I have been teaching students of different ages and levels for over 7 years. Besides teaching Spanish, I also like to travel, play squash, read, and learn about geography and different cultures. I am an outgoing person and I love sharing my experiences with my students.

A curious fact is that when people hear me speaking Spanish, they think that I am from Cuba and not from Colombia, because my accent comes from the Caribbean part of Colombia, and it is different from what people think  “Colombian” accent is!
